Peter Champ purchased his first property in Portland over ten years ago after deciding that this was the community in which he and his wife wanted to raise their three children. Prior to becoming a real estate broker, Peter owned and operated a successful import and retail business. A growing interest in Portland architecture and real estate, caused Peter to close the business after 14 years and begin his career as a real estate broker.

Peter’s attention to detail and reliability are rarely matched — as an owner of both residential and commercial properties he understands the importance of a fluid, seamless transaction and what pitfalls to avoid. He takes the pressure out of the real estate process by carefully listening to his clients’ needs, advocating on their behalf, and getting the results that they desire.

Ashley Shabo

Ashley Shabo

Real Estate Broker

Ashley Shabo is a Portland Real Estate Broker who understands the ins-and-outs of buying and selling a home as well as she knows the neighborhoods of this great city. Ashley knows that buying or selling in this market can feel overwhelming, but working as a team can make it fun and rewarding.

I truly believe in home-ownership. It’s an extension of yourself and how you love to spend your time; whether you’re building a family nest, dipping a toe into the waters of investment, or finally admitting you need more space. My business model is simple; I prioritize communication and offer complete wrap-around customer service throughout the real estate process. I’m here to help you and the neighborhood and home that fits your lifestyle and budget. I know schools (public and private), parks (off-leash and on), and perks (restaurants and bars as well as peace and quiet) in every neighborhood in the metro area.

If you are selling a home, I will help you get organized and maximize your home’s potential to reach your financial goal. I will create a strong marketing plan that will express the unique features of your property and get your home maximum exposure. If you are ready to buy, I will listen and learn what your specific needs are. We will determine what the best neighborhoods are for your lifestyle and budget. I will help you navigate the steps to be ready when the right house comes along. As a creative negotiator, I will ensure you get the most out of your home inspection and repair requests. I will inform and help every step of the way to have the process go as smoothly as possible.

In my 20 years in Portland, I have purchased two homes and been a landlady for over 12 years. I experienced firsthand the financial stability and security it has brought to my life. My first house was purchased in 2004 when the market was red hot so I know how essential it is to have an involved and assertive agent working hard for you. I bought my second home in 2013 when the market was slower but my needs were more specific, which gave me first-hand knowledge of the need for time and patience in this process.

Several years ago, I carefully restored and remodeled a 1907 Craftsman, and right now I’m in love with my 1943 Tudor Cottage with cove ceilings and a master suite with knotty pine built-ins. Being a mama and dog owner there’s never a day I’m not out strolling the streets getting to know my community. I am a lover of rain, coffee, city walks, and all things handmade. I lived for a while in Manzanita and have extensive knowledge of real estate on the Oregon coast. I am a bit of an insomniac and I love working in the garden and heading to the coast any chance I get.

Born in the land of BBQ and Janis Joplin I fled to Portland in 1996 and never looked back; it was the first time I felt at home in a city. I have lived all over Portland’s east side and know the neighborhoods well. I graduated in 2002 from PNCA in the Pearl District and have been an avid cyclist for 20 years. With an art and design background, I thoroughly appreciate the old architecture of so many Portland homes. I’ll never forget my first few days in Portland, walking around neighborhoods looking at every house, and visualizing how it could be someone’s dream home. Twenty years later I still do that almost every day.

Rachel Perry Champ Realty Group

Rachel Perry

Real Estate Broker

Rachel Perry is a real estate broker whose passion for houses is exceeded only by her enjoyment of matching clients with their perfect home. Rachel appreciates how daunting the purchase or sale of a home can be, and finds that clear lines of communication make the process more comfortable for her clients.

One of the biggest rewards for me working as a Real Estate Broker is being a successful matchmaker between my clients and their best possible home. I enjoy finding out who my clients are and what they really need and want in their new homes. Then I gather the numbers and data on a property so that they can make clear decisions.

In all of my work, I pride myself on follow through with integrity. No matter how tricky a negotiation is, ongoing and clear communication makes a successful outcome not only more likely but also more enjoyable.

My background includes training as an interior decorator and I am happy to use that knowledge to assist sellers on how to best present their property to catch buyers’ attention.

I grew up in England and moved here to be closer to my husband’s side of the family when we started our own family over 20 years ago. My husband and our three children lived in Beaverton before moving to West Linn last year, so I am very familiar with the West Side of town, but also love the pocket neighborhoods of the East Side.

We adopted our first dog two years ago – a three-legged, snaggle-toothed Chihuahua-Boston Terrier-mutt – and it was like it was meant to be. My family has nicknamed her ‘Minion,’ as she is right by my side whenever possible, often when we are thrifting online for original pieces to renovate our mid-century home.

I am an ally and advocate for the local Down Syndrome and LGBTQ communities and also enjoy reading at my church. I still have strong ties to the UK and hope to make you a proper cuppa tea some time to chat over your real estate needs.
